Privacy Policy

This policy explains how this portfolio website and its Testing Lab handle information. It distinguishes data stored locally by the interactive demos from technical data that may be processed to deliver the website.

1. Who is responsible

The person responsible for this website is Zakir Mustafa Kemal Kalayci. For privacy questions or requests, contact mkemalkalayci@gmail.com.

2. Scope and overview

This policy applies to the public portfolio pages and the Testing Lab, including the AI Portal demo. The website uses cookieless, aggregated analytics to count page views, described in section 5. It does not use advertising trackers, tracking pixels, cross-site tracking, or automated profiling.

Most interactive demo information stays in your browser. Technical request data may still be processed by the hosting infrastructure when it sends the website to your device.

3. Website delivery and hosting

When you access a page, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, request date and time, requested URL, browser or user agent information, referring page when supplied, response status, and transferred data volume. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and protect the service against abuse.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in securely and reliably providing the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical records are handled according to the hosting and security configuration in use when the website is accessed. If the hosting provider changes, this policy will be updated where that change materially affects how personal data is processed.

4. Information stored in your browser

The site uses local storage for the selected theme and for functionality you choose to use inside the Testing Lab. The AI Portal demo can store demo users and sessions, profile changes and optional profile images, simulated purchases and limited payment metadata, comments, reactions, favorites, experiment preferences, and Article Studio drafts or published articles, including an optional uploaded image.

The application code keeps this demo information on your device and does not send it to an application database. It remains until you use the relevant reset controls, delete it in the demo, or clear this website's browser data. Local storage is used to provide preferences and demo features you explicitly request. In Germany, access that is strictly necessary to provide a requested digital service is addressed by Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.

The Testing Lab is intended for test data. Demo passwords and other entries are not a secure vault. Do not enter a real or reused password, genuine payment details, or confidential information. Optional profile photos remain browser-local, but only upload an image you have the right to use and avoid sensitive content.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The website code does not set cookies and does not use behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.

Page views are measured with Vercel Web Analytics, provided by the hosting provider. It does not use cookies and does not store or read identifiers on your device. Visitors are counted using a hash derived from the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so visits cannot be linked together beyond that window or across other websites.

A page view may record the time of the request, the page address and route, the referring website, filtered query parameters, approximate location (country, region, city), device type, operating system, and browser version. This information is used in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in understanding which pages are used, measured in a form that does not identify visitors. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, the site does not display a consent banner. If non-essential tracking technologies are introduced later, this policy and the consent approach will be updated before they are used where required.

7. How long information is kept

  • Browser-local demo data remains until you delete or reset it, or clear the website's browser storage.
  • Email correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and meet any applicable legal obligations.
  • Technical hosting records are retained according to the hosting and security configuration and only for as long as needed for delivery, reliability, security, or applicable legal requirements.

8. Your data protection rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

You can remove browser-local demo data directly with the Testing Lab's reset controls or your browser settings. For information not controlled by this site, such as hosting-provider records, requests may need to be directed to the relevant provider. More information is available from the European Commission's data protection guidance.

9. Automated decisions and policy changes

This website does not make legally significant automated decisions about you. Paywall variants, subscription states, and payment results inside the AI Portal are fictional demo behavior only.

This policy may be updated when the site, its hosting, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

Rules for using the website and its demos are available in the Terms of Use.
